Camper Champ for Claude and ChatGPT

Camper Champ compares campervan and motorhome hire. Ask in plain words, for example "I need a campervan from Sydney to Cairns in March", and it shows the vans available for your trip as cards: photo, rental company and rating, seats and berths, transmission, toilet and shower, cancellation terms and the total price. Book opens camperchamp.com with your van selected, so you can compare it with the others and continue your booking with no booking fees. Cancellation is available on most vehicles; each card shows when a van can be cancelled free of charge.

Two connectors

Claude: add it from the connectors directory, or as a custom connector: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL https://mcp.camperchamp.com/claude/mcp (US & Canada: https://mcp.camperchamp.com/claude/us/mcp).
ChatGPT: add it from the apps directory once listed. Developers can connect it in developer mode with https://mcp.camperchamp.com/mcp (US & Canada: https://mcp.camperchamp.com/us/mcp).

What it can do

Search campervans (search_campervans): pick-up place, drop-off place for a one-way trip, dates, number of travellers, and optionally the driver's country of residence (it sets the currency and the rates) and age. If a place name is ambiguous, it asks which one you mean.
Campervan details (get_campervan_details): for one van from a search, its depot address and opening hours, bond, minimum driver age, beds, water tanks and rental terms.

Both are read-only: they look up availability and prices, and never book, pay or change anything. Booking happens on camperchamp.com and our booking partner's checkout.

Example prompts

Campervan from Sydney to Cairns, 8–22 March, for two
Motorhome hire in Auckland for a week from 3 February
RV rental in Los Angeles, 12–19 November, 4 people
Is that van's depot near the airport, and what's the bond?

Good to know

Prices and availability are live from the rental companies at the time you ask; a search usually takes 5–10 seconds.
Private-owner prices (US & Canada) are the nightly rate before the owner's fees and insurance, which the marketplace adds at checkout. Private-owner trips are return trips only.
Trips of up to 120 days.
